Janna Hoskin, Editor-in-Chief
Janna was diagnosed with ADHD in 2005, one short month after she had the idea for AutistiConnections. She has worked with autistic children since August 1999, originally in home behavioural programs and later as a respite caregiver and a community aide. She has also worked as a church secretary and as an editor for a disability-related organization in Alberta. She grew up in Alberta and attended the University of Calgary, graduating with her BMus in Composition in 1998. While living and working in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Janna studied psychology at Lakehead University and holds a BA in Psychology that she completed in 2001. Following her time in Thunder Bay, Janna spent two years living and working in North Vancouver, British Columbia. In 2003, she returned to Calgary, which is where she met her partner. They currently reside in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, with two guinea pigs and a cat.
